WILD CAUGHT FROM SUSTAINABLE FISHERIES.
As innovators, we believe in a better way of doing business - one that’s built on honesty, integrity, and authenticity. These values are core to our transparent supply chain and our commitment to promote the story behind the fish for every product in our line.
giving small-scale fishermen the business their commitment to our oceans deserves.
All of our seafood is wild-caught in the cold, clean waters of the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Alaska and Oregon using ocean-friendly fishing practices.
We carefully select the fish we source using our 6-point sustainability assessment - vetting gear types, management structures, population, monitoring, habitat impacts, and socioeconomic conditions - to ensure the highest quality, most responsibly sourced seafood. Every time.
RUN BY OCEAN-LOVING WOMEN.
Salty Girl Seafood was founded by Norah Eddy and Laura Johnson out of a shared passion for the ocean and a desire to make purchasing and preparing sustainable, traceable seafood easy and accessible for anyone and everyone. While graduate students at UCSB’s Bren School for Environmental Science & Management, Norah and Laura came together to see the health of the oceans, fisheries, and fishing communities continue long into the future.
We proudly support 1% For The Planet, a global movement that allows socially and environmentally conscious businesses to give back 1% of their annual sales to nonprofits, both locally and nationally.
